The idea
Finding good local help should not mean trawling directories and waiting for callbacks. Fixabee lets people post a job and hear back from nearby providers, and gives providers a simple way to find work close to home.
My role
I designed and engineered Fixabee for AadhiPixels Ltd: the product and brand, the customer and provider journeys, the mobile app, the website and the platform behind them.
How it is built
The app is written in Flutter, so one codebase ships to iOS and Android. Firebase provides authentication, a Firestore data model for jobs, quotes and bookings, push notifications and server-side functions.
Payments run through Stripe. Customers pay securely in the app, and providers receive their payouts through Stripe to their own accounts. The website is built with Next.js on the same Firebase project.
Status
Fixabee is owned and operated by AadhiPixels Ltd. Its website is at fixabee.com.
